Con motivo de la inauguracion de la exposicion Museo de las narrativas paralelas. En el marco de La Internacional, la banda industrial eslovena Laibach presenta en el MACBA su particular interpretacion de El arte de la fuga de Johann Sebastian Bach. Este espectaculo no es un concierto habitual de Laibach, sino una instalacion performativa de 80 minutos, un concierto para tablero de ajedrez en forma de cruz para cuatro jugadores (Kreuzschach und vier Schachspieler), con sonido y efectos visuales. El acontecimiento esta dedicado a Bach, Schönberg, Kraftwerk, George Hope Verney, Fischer y Spassky.

El grupo Laibach, asociado desde 1984 con el colectivo de artes visuales IRWIN y el grupo Gledališče Sester Scipion Nasice, conforman el movimiento estetico NSK (Neue Slowenische Kunst), considerado una de las experiencias artisticas mas potentes y controvertidas de las ultimas decadas. Su musica combina elementos de la cultura popular con la subversion de la politica, la alta cultura con las provocaciones subculturales, y cuestiona las expectativas “normales” del arte y la politica en una epoca posindustrial y de posguerra fria. Desde sus inicios, Laibach plantea una ruptura simbolica e ideologica uniendo elementos nazifascistas, estalinistas, nacionalistas yugoslavos y eslovenos.

Fetish entertainment and a lush setting will set the saucy mood and prepare you for a night of dancing and playing in the dungeon until the early hours of the morning. Tickets are still available for this dinner/party but not for long!

The story of UMB began with THOROFON. Anton Knilpert and Genevieve Pasquier project stood in the artistic and musicial tradition of Throbbing Gristle and SPK, but soon developed an own easy-to-recognize style. Their prolific career in the international Post-Industrial scene began with “Maximum Punishment Solutions” (LP, Stateart) back in 1997 and the 7″ “Littleton”, succeded by several 7″es and the two full-time releases “Final Movement” (UMB001, 2001) and “New Heroes” (UMB003, 2005). The latter completing the conceptual “Supression – Revolution – Opression” trilogy of three studio albums THOROFON was created for.

In May 2010 they announced to return, their first live action have tacked place in Erlangen in December 2010 !

L’histoire du label UMB a débuté avec THOROFON. These days of the ‘post-industrial’ time offer diverse views of the inheritance of bands like TG, SPK and others. Music, content and ambitions might have changed according to the perspectives. We can find a combination of yesterday and today in OBJEKT/URIAN.
They stroll down the old paths by building instruments by themselves as well as they use analogue technology. The result is a quite distinct sound yet it always reveals the nearness to Power-Electronics and Noise. The incredibly blurred and ugly aspect of social and political issues is almost foist on the listener with the aggressive vocals.

OBJEKT/URIAN’s performances are dynamic dismantlements of society’s deceiving illusion of an ideal world. Along with analogue synthesizers, home-made sound emitting objects and aggressive vocals they provide the sonic framework of an angry impeachment, that is performed with lots of sweat and sometimes even blood.

Ces jours «post-industriels» offrent des vues différentes de l’héritage de groupes tels que TG, SPK et d’autres. La musique, le contenu et les ambitions peuvent avoir changé en fonction des perspectives. Nous pouvons trouver une combinaison d’hier et d’aujourd’hui dans OBJEKT / URIAN.

Ils se promènent dans les sentiers anciens en construisant eux mêmes leurs instruments ainsi qu’en utilisant la technologie analogique. Le résultat est un son tout à fait unique, mais qui révèle toujours la proximité du Power-Electronics et Noise. L’aspect hideux des questions sociales et politiques est presque imposer à l’auditeur avec le chant agressif.

Les performances d’OBJEKT /URIAN sont des démantèlements de l’illusion trompeuse de la société d’un monde idéal. Avec des synthétiseurs analogiques, des objets sonores fait maison et un chant agressif, ils fournissent le cadre d’une procédure de mise en accusation, qui est exécutée avec beaucoup de sueur et parfois même du sang.

LES JUMEAUX DISCORDANTS is a project born in 2005 by the union of ROBERTO DEL VECCHIO’s music and AIMAPROJECT. Roberto Del Vecchio (The Last Hour / ex-Gothica) is a composer since 1994; Aimaproject is a project born in 1996 and it works in various expressive fields: poetry, photography, music and multimedia. Aimaproject comes from neofolk and she works with many musical projects. Les Jumeaux Discordants presupposes a strong inte …raction between poetry, image and music. There’s even a bent for the cinematographic transposition of the visionary poems, about the various range of human feelings. Nevertheless, Les Jumeaux Discordants is ascension, it is the coscience of earthly, a coscience which is turned to the overcoming of the human miseries, made by the unique instruments which are still free: mind and spirit.

L’HORRIBLE PASSION it’s a band from Barcelona born on 2008 and deals with old gramphone recordings, sad pianos and dark industrial loop sequences, mixed with martial percussions and massive ambient drones.

Being a one man band on studio, and for the first time, is going to perform live with many support musicians on stage and they will present old material from the debut album and a selection of some of the most aggressive tracks of the upcoming releases.

DAIMATLAND is a project born in 2010 by the union of AimA and DettY.

AimA (Elements: Moon, Silver, Water) is a professional photographer, she works in various expressive fields: poetry, photography, music and multimedia and she takes part of many musical projects.(Les Jumeaux Discordants, Fehu, Daimatland and various cooperations)

DettY (Elements: Sun, Gold, Fire) is a professional musician, she began her musical studies at a very young age with the cello, piano, organ and chamber music classes in Hungary proceeding later to her final degree at the famous academy “Franz Liszt” in Budapest.
She has participated in many international competitions with prestigious recognition both in Italy and abroad.
She has an intense performing career in many ensembles and chamber groups.

Daimatland presupposes a strong interaction between poetry, image,music, nature, fantasy and visions. Daimatland is the trait d’union between dream and reality thanks of sounds,
poems and voices that recall an esoteric and ancient world.
Poems are very short (they’re irregular haiku) and they want to give an image with a mystical message of Nature and Spirit.
Sounds are magic and mystical: cello, tibetan bells and many particular instruments.

Daimatland is our secret land to share with you.
